HH Saudi have occupied the building for the last twenty years and as a result their existing voice and data installation had been subject to many alterations which made it very difficult to trace cable runs etc. Our challenge was to ensure that the existing voice and data services were maintained throughout the project and to provide a seamless transition from the old installation to the new.

Scope of Works: To fully refurbish the headquarters building whilst the client staff remained in occupation, this was achieved by undertaking the work in five phases.

Workplace Concepts provided a complete project management and financial surveying service. The general scope of works included:-

Pre Tender:

• Develop Client's requirements
• Tender the works

Contract:

• Stripped out all internal finishes back to the building shell
• Built new solid and full height silicon jointed glazed partitions
• Installed new suspended ceiling
• Formed new cellular offices, meeting rooms, boardroom, conference room, reception area, staff breakout and computer room
• New raised access floor (computer room)
• Refurbished the existing male and female core toilets
• Extensive alterations and enhancements to the lighting and power services.
• Installed new air conditioning (VRV) and fresh systems through the building
• New central plant (Boilers, AHU's)
• Infrastructure voice and data cabling (VIP)
• Comprehensive CCTV and access control systems
• Floor and wall finishes
• Furniture installation
• Office furniture and equipment relocation

Post Contract:

• Maintenance agreements
